Chief Minister Launches 18 Projects Worth ₹47.43 Crores and Inaugurates Plans Worth ₹1.23 Crores

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in an agricultural, industrial, and tourism development fair held in Syalsoud, Augustyamuni on Sunday. During this event, he laid the foundation for 18 significant projects totaling ₹47.43 crores and inaugurated various plans worth ₹1.23 crores.

The Chief Minister announced that mini stadiums will be constructed in Chanddhar and Gaithana Bangar in Chopta. An 8-kilometer motor road will be built from Swaringwas to Kartik Swami. Additionally, the second phase of work for the Andhergadhi-Talsari motor road from Jaichora to Aita Pawan Nagar, as well as the Thapli and Kamsal motor roads, will receive approval. There will also be construction of parking facilities at Kartik Swami’s Kanakchauri, and a missing link will be established from the Chinagwad motor road to the Pabau-Dhanpur motor road.

While addressing the gathered crowd, Chief Minister Dhami expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the people of Kedarnath Assembly, which helped elect Asha Nautiyal as a member. He assured that the state government will continue to accelerate development efforts in the region. He also mentioned that his government is working to keep the Char Dham Yatra ongoing, even during the winter months, officially announcing this at the Shri Omkareshwar Temple. This initiative aims to attract tourists from across the country and abroad, allowing them to experience the region’s stunning natural beauty while also providing year-round employment opportunities for local businesses. The Chief Minister emphasized that both the central and state governments are committed to making farmers self-reliant. Currently, 800,000 farmers in the state are benefiting from the Kisan Samman Nidhi, and loans of up to ₹3 lakhs are being provided to farmers without interest. A special allocation of ₹200 crores has been made in this year’s budget to promote horticulture. The government is also working to boost industry and tourism in the state. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, contracts have been signed with major investors to create job opportunities for local youth, which will benefit them in the future. He highlighted the importance of organizing fairs to preserve traditional culture, heritage, and development. Rudraprayag MLA Bharat Singh Chaudhary remarked that just as the country is fortunate to have a leader like Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, the state is equally fortunate to have Dhami as a strong and devout Chief Minister. He noted that in his nearly 40 years of political experience, he has never seen a politician like Dhami, who has a clear vision for development. He stated that under Chief Minister Dhami’s leadership, the state is continuously reaching new heights of progress and is on a path of historic advancement, assuring that the future of the state is secure in Dhami’s hands.
