Chief Minister inaugurated three power stations in Bagiya

Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated development works worth Rs 8.55 crore in village Bagiya of Jashpur district. This includes newly constructed power sub-stations in Kunjara, Dhokra and Sahidand. The cost of these three 33/11 KV power sub-stations is Rs 7.84 crore. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the sub-regional store in Kunkuri and the new tehsil office building constructed in Sanna.

With the construction of three power sub-stations in Kunkuri region, the people of the villages will get relief from the problem of power supply. This will ensure the supply of quality electricity to 11 thousand consumers in Kunkuri and 70 nearby villages. At the same time, the construction of a new tehsil office building in Sanna will expedite the resolution of revenue matters.

Officials of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Distribution Company informed that quality electricity is being supplied to more than 3500 consumers of 25 villages from the electricity sub-station of village Dokra, about 3850 consumers of 23 villages from the sub-station of Kunjara and 4270 consumers of 22 villages from the sub-station of Sahidand. A power transformer of 3.15 MVA has been installed in all the three electricity sub-stations.

Similarly, the supply of transformers and other electrical equipment will be easy due to the establishment of sub-regional depot in Kunkuri. Earlier, transformers were supplied from the regional store located in Surajpur district at a distance of 150 to 200 km, Bishrampur. This used to take more time and cost. Opening of mini depot store in Kunkuri will not only save distance and time but will also facilitate availability of electrical equipment.
