The entire staff of Amaltas Hotel, which started on 6 December 2024 last year, is women. This great innovation of MP Tourism Department has changed the thinking of the society towards women. From female guards to cooks, gardeners, chefs, watchmen, managers, 22 other women are working in the hotel. This hotel is not only making women financially self-reliant but is also providing a safe and positive environment where women are providing effective leadership. Jyoti Jaiswal, manager of Amaltas Hotel, says that “the way women manage their homes, we have decorated and beautified this hotel in the same way. So that any tourist who comes here leaves happy. This hotel is completely run by women. Tourists are given all the facilities like at home. Waiter Sunita Sharma says that “we feel the atmosphere here is like home. All the tourists also get home-like food. They also feel at home here and we also do not face any kind of problem in working”. Chef Kunti of Amaltas Hotel says that “this hotel is a pure veg hotel. South Indian food is also available here. Tourists also praise our food. The special dishes here are Bada Sambar, Idli and Dosa. Feeling of being self-reliant Hotel receptionist Alia Fatima says that under the leadership of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, “Madhya Pradesh Tourism has taken a very good initiative for women. We are very happy with this. Many women are unable to leave their homes, but we have got a chance to work here. This is a good employment opportunity for us, which has improved the conditions of our homes, and our feeling of being self-reliant gives us strength. Work that instills confidence, coordination of safety and convenience, Sarita Chaudhary, guard of Amaltas Hotel, says that “I have been working at Hotel Amaltas since September. I stay here on night duty. So far no one has faced any problem. Whatever guests come, we provide them with things as per their need. We do not face any problem at night.” Hotel ‘Amaltas’ has become the choice of women tourists. Due to the presence of women staff in Amaltas Hotel, the number of women tourists has also increased in this hotel. Women tourists feel safe and independent here. It is very important to promote women. MP Tourism has set a very good example. It is very good in terms of safety of women tourists, because the entire staff here is women. Women tourists can feel completely safe and independent by staying here.” This is an innovation of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board.
