Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised international wrestling player Miss Priyanshi

Bhopal: Ujjain’s daughter, international wrestling player Ms. Priyanshi Prajapati met Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Thursday at Samatva Bhavan, Chief Minister’s residence. It is noteworthy that Priyanshi has made Madhya Pradesh proud by winning the gold medal in the under-23 category in the recently concluded Asian Wrestling Championship in Vietnam. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that while applauding and congratulating the talented daughter Priyanshi for this achievement, he said that Ms. Priyanshi Prajapati will be given an incentive amount of Rs 2 lakh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government is working to develop sports and give full encouragement to the players. In this sequence, in the past also, along with giving incentives to the players, the work of taking them in various services has been done. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the excellent players of Madhya Pradesh who perform well at the national and international level and win medals will always be encouraged in this way. On this occasion, Mr. Ravi Solanki, Joint Secretary of MP Wrestling Association Mr. Vijay Chaudhary, President of Ujjain District Wrestling Association Mr. Umesh Thakur, Secretary Mr. Surendra Yadav, Vice President Mr. Mukesh Prajapati and Mr. Saavan Bajaj were present.
Congratulations to Priyanshi from hometown Ujjain to capital Bhopal Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed Priyanshi in the presence of many public representatives on Thursday. Apart from Bhopal, everyone is eager to welcome Priyanshi in Ujjain too. While the District Administration Ujjain, Sports Department and wrestling lovers have also congratulated Priyanshi, there is an atmosphere of happiness in the sports world due to the achievement of the player from Madhya Pradesh. Priyanshi has been fond of wrestling since the age of 11. Priyanshi’s elder sister Nupur has also been a national level wrestling player. Priyanshi has also won medals in various competitions earlier. In these, she has made Madhya Pradesh and the nation proud by securing fourth position in the Under-15 category in Japan in the year 2018, Gold Medal in Senior Federation Cup Punjab in the year 2020, Third Position in Junior World Championship Bulgaria in the year 2022, Third Position in Jordan Asian Championship in the Junior category in the year 2023 and Gold Medal in Asian Championship in the Senior category in the year 2025. Priyanshi will participate in the Ranking Senior World Championship in the 53 kg category to be held in Turkey on 29th July and will represent the Indian team. Priyanshi credits her success to the guidance of her father, wrestler Shri Mukesh Babulal Prajapati.
