Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in Bawdi Utsav from Laxman Bawdi situated in Chintaman Ganesh Temple premises

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Bawdi Utsav from Laxman Bawdi situated in Shri Chintaman Ganesh Temple premises in Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the book ‘Boond Bachaye Bawdi’. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a vermilion plant in the Chintaman Ganesh Temple premises in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan’. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the blessings of Lord Shri Chintaman Ganesh, the country and state are touching new heights of development. Investment proposals worth thousands of crores were received in the Wellness Summit organized in Ujjain. Ujjain will become an important center of mental peace, spirituality, wellness care for the country and abroad.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that work is also being done on the Ujjain-Indore new four-lane for the convenience of devotees in view of Simhastha-2028. He said that Chintaman Ganesh Railway Station will also be upgraded. Mother Shipra is being made clean, pure and flowing through Kanh Close Duct Project and Sewarkhedi Silarkhedi Project. Due to this, the Simhastha bath will be done with the clean water of Mother Shipra. New Shipra Ghats are being constructed for the convenience of devotees coming from the country and abroad. The state government is committed to ensure all facilities to the devotees. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan is being run in the state from 30 March to 30 June under the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in which measures have been taken to conserve every drop of water by working on the message of water conservation in the state, renovation of water structures and improvement in groundwater level.

Jan Abhiyan Parishad informed that in Bawdi Utsav, water structures are being given new life by renovation, lighting, cleaning, decoration, opening water channels with public participation at the site of Bawdi. After renovation, traditional worship of Bawdi is also being done under Bawdi Utsav and by giving information about water resource conservation or historical, cultural, social importance of Bawdi, message of water conservation is being given. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the efforts of the council in the entire campaign have ensured participation of more than 36 lakh 34 thousand people. In Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, the council has done 2139 Bawdi cleaning, 4254 pond cleaning, 3468 river ghat cleaning, 15913 water seminars, 1677 street plays, wall writings.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. He worshipped Laxman Bawdi in Bawdi Utsav. The program was conducted by Mr. Piyush Tripathi and the vote of thanks was given by division coordinator Mr. Shivprasad Malviya.
