Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed investment and development resolutions with the Indian High Commission

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a meeting with officials of the Indian High Commission, London on the first day of his UK tour. During this, he discussed in detail the state’s plans for industrial development, technical cooperation and global investment.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed happiness over starting his first international trip from Britain and appreciated the cooperation of the Indian High Commission. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is a proud moment for me that I am starting this important trip from the UK. I express my heartfelt gratitude for the guidance and cooperation provided by the High Commission team in preparing for this trip.

Prioritize industrial development

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that industrial development is one of the top priorities of the state government. He informed that the regional industry conclaves organised in cities like Ujjain, Rewa, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Sagar have received positive responses regarding investment in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are now moving beyond the national level and trying to connect investors at the international level with the development of the state, which is starting from London.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav underlined the immense potential of Madhya Pradesh in sectors like agriculture, automobile, auto components, pharmaceuticals and IT. He especially talked about partnership with Britain in the field of technology transfer, skill development and research.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav requested special cooperation from the Indian High Commission for the Global Investors Summit to be held in Bhopal in February 2025. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that I specially request the team of the High Commission to cooperate with us in establishing Madhya Pradesh as an ideal destination for British investors.

The meeting was attended by Indian High Commissioner Mr. Vikram K Doraiswami, Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Sujit Ghosh, Minister (Economic) Mrs. Nidhi Mani Tripathi and First Secretary (Trade) Mr. Jaspreet Singh Sukhija. This discussion between Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and the Indian High Commission, London is being seen as the beginning of a new chapter in promoting industrial and technical cooperation between the state and the UK.
