Chhattisgarh’s flag was hoisted in the All India Police Badminton Mixed Doubles

-Chhattisgarh won gold for the first time

-The pair of Suraj Singh Parihar IPS and Aakarshi Kashyap DSP won the gold medal

-The silver medal of the competition also went to Chhattisgarh

-In mixed doubles, the pair of IPS Bhavna Gupta and Mormuta of Mizoram got the silver medal

Raipur, 16 April 2025 l  Chhattisgarh’s flag has been hoisted in the mixed doubles event of the All India Police Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament. Chhattisgarh has won the gold medal for the first time in this competition. The silver medal of the competition also went to Chhattisgarh.

In the All India Police Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament held from 11 to 15 April at the Regional Sports Center Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium Kadavanthra, Ernakulam, Kerala, Chhattisgarh secured third place in the medal tally among 43 teams. Chhattisgarh won a total of 11 medals in badminton and table tennis. The 5-day program concluded today in Kochi, Kerala. Earlier, Chhattisgarh had won 5 medals in Chandigarh.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has congratulated and wished Chhattisgarh Police and the medal winners for this great achievement in the All India Police Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament. This achievement of Chhattisgarh Police officers is inspirational for other players.
