
Order issued to increase dearness allowance to 53 percent
Raipur, 06 March 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s government has given a gift to lakhs of government servants of the state before the festival of Holi by fulfilling its announcement of increasing the dearness allowance of the state government servants to 53 percent. It is noteworthy that Cabinet Minister OP Choudhary in the Chhattisgarh government led by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had announced 53 percent DA to the government servants in the annual budget of the year 2025-26 in the Assembly on March 3. In compliance with the said announcement, the order to increase the dearness allowance of government servants has been issued by the Finance Department. According to the order issued, an order has been issued to increase the dearness allowance of the state government servants by 3 percent to 53 percent. The dearness allowance of the employees working in the seventh pay scale has been increased by 3 percent, now they will get 53 percent dearness allowance, while the dearness allowance of the employees of the sixth pay scale has been increased by 7 percent, now they will get 246 percent dearness allowance. This increase will be effective from March 1, 2025 and it will be paid in the month of April along with the salary of March 2025.
