Cg news : Two-day ‘Heads of Chemistry Meet’ held at NTPC Nava Raipur

The two-day ‘Heads of Chemistry Meet’ was held at NTPC Nava Raipur Office on February 27-28, 2024 wherein Heads of Chemistry Departments from across NTPC Stations and joint ventures s attended.

Addressing the gathering, Shri C Sivakumar, Regional Executive Director (WR-II, USSC & Ash-NI) underlined the importance of Chemistry functionaries in Power plant and appreciated their role in ensuring Quality Chemistry work and thus helping the machinery to function at its best.
Earlier, in his opening remark, Shri Arindam Sinha, Executive Director – Operation services appreciated the Chemistry Functionaries for their efforts in smooth functioning of the plant and contributing to growth of the Organisation. Shri Sinha asked all to enhance their competency besides focusing on Safety, especially Chemical safety.
During the meet, Heads of Chemistry presented and discussed the best practices adopted in their respective stations which can be emulated in other stations for further performance improvement.
Shri S K Ghosh, ED-OS; Shri C S Srinivas, CGM-COS-CenPEEP; Shri K Chandramouli, CGM-COS-C&I; Shri V Chandrasekharan, GM-COS-Chemistry and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
