CG NEWS: Save time and avoid standing in queues, use “UTS on Mobile App”

Raipur. South East Central Railway is continuously making efforts for passenger facilities. In this series, after online ticketing facility, passengers have been given the facility to purchase general tickets through mobile app. With this facility, passengers no longer need to come to the station and stand in line at the ticket counter to buy tickets. UTS on Mobile App is getting good response from passengers and the number of passengers using this facility is increasing day by day.

In order to save passengers from queues at ticket counters and to provide quick tickets, the facility of UTS Mobile App has been provided for booking travel tickets at home as well as for issuing and renewing season tickets (MST). By downloading this app on their mobile, passengers can easily do instant unreserved ticket booking and issue and renewal of season ticket (MST) from the comfort of their home. Platform tickets can also be obtained through this mobile app.

It is noteworthy that keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers living away from the station, its scope has been increased to 25 km, that is, passengers can book unreserved tickets and season tickets through this app even from a distance of 25 km from the station. MST) can be issued and renewed.

In this series, more than 20 percent of the total unreserved tickets booked under South East Central Railway from April 2023 to January 2024 of the current financial year were purchased through UTS on Mobile app. In which more than 49 lakh railway passengers traveled by purchasing unreserved tickets through UTS on Mobile app.

Railway administration urges the passengers to take maximum advantage of this facility of quick and easy booking of unreserved tickets and issuance and renewal of season tickets (MST) through this app from the comfort of their homes.

Ways to issue and renew Season Ticket (MST) through UTS Mobile App –
• Download the UTS Mobile App from Google Play Store, Apple Store and sign up for registration.

• Login ID. Mobile no. Register and use the four-digit password received via message.

• Select the type of tickets. (Journey ticket, season ticket, platform ticket and number of passengers)

• Use R-Wallet to pay for tickets. R-Wallet can be used with Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI like Paytm, Google Pay, Phone Pay etc. or UTS. Can be recharged through the counter.

• Apart from R-Wallet, payment can also be done through debit card, net banking, UPI.
