CG NEWS: Prafulla Thakur becomes new president of Raipur Press Club, Shukla vice president

The much awaited Raipur Press Club elections have been completed. Five panels were in the fray in this election, in which voting was held for the posts of President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer and two Joint Secretaries. Today i.e. on 17th February, an atmosphere of great commotion was seen in the Press Club Raipur.

There was such a gathering outside the Press Club as if assembly elections were being held, the most important thing is that this election was conducted on ballot paper in which officers, employees of the district administration and also employees of the police department were deployed. This election was conducted completely under the supervision and monitoring of the administration. The candidates contesting in the Press Club and their supporters were stationed outside the gate of the Press Club and were seen appealing to all the voters to vote in their favor.

Looking at the results of the Raipur Press Club elections, it can be understood that all the voters who came to vote had made up their mind as to whom to vote for. After the result everything became clear. After the results came, an atmosphere of celebration was seen in Raipur Press Club.

According to the new body, President Prafulla Thakur, Vice President Sandeep Shukla, General Secretary Vaibhav Shiv Bemetariha, Treasurer Raman Halwai, Joint Secretary Bamleshwar and Trupti Soni were made.
