Raipur. Another guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being fulfilled in Chhattisgarh. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, all preparations have been completed for the implementation of Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the state. Eligible women will start getting benefits under the scheme from March 1, 2024. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 12 thousand will be transferred to the bank accounts of women who complete 21 years on January 01, 2024, at the rate of Rs 1000 per month.
For Mahtari Vandan Yojana, online applications will be taken from women from 5th to 20th February. Applications can be made from the login ID of Anganwadi centres, Gram Panchayats and Child Development Project Office. Applicants from urban areas will be able to apply through the login ID of the ward in-charge.
eligibility conditions
Under the prescribed eligibility conditions for Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the woman must be a resident of Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, the age of the married woman should not be less than 21 years from January 1, 2024 in the year in which the application is being made. Widows, divorced and abandoned women will also be eligible under the scheme.
Under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of Rs 12 thousand will be transferred to each eligible woman through DBT in their bank accounts at the rate of Rs 1000 per month. Women benefiting under various pension schemes, who are getting less than Rs 1000 per month, will be sanctioned additional amount if they are eligible for the scheme, so that they can get a maximum amount of Rs 1000 per month.
Portal and app for online application-
Application for Mahtari Vandan Yojana will be free. To fill online for this scheme, one has to apply on the portal https://www.mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in. Apart from this, applications can also be submitted on the mobile app created for the scheme. Applications for the scheme will be taken from 05 February. The last date for filling the application will be 20 February 2024.
These documents have to be submitted-
While applying, beneficiaries should submit their own attested passport size photograph, local residence certificate, ration card, any one of the voter ID cards, Aadhaar card of self and husband, PAN card of self and husband (if any), Marriage certificate, certificate issued by Gram Panchayat and local bodies, death certificate of husband in case of widow, certificate issued by ward or gram panchayat issued by society in case of abandonment, 10 or 12 for birth certificate. Marksheet, transfer certificate, PAN card, identity card, any one of the driving license, bank account details and photocopy of bank passbook and self-declaration or affidavit will have to be submitted.
Women and Child Development Nodal Department at the state level-
For the convenience of women, special camps will also be organized at Anganwadi and Gram Panchayat level. For the implementation of this scheme, the nodal department of Women and Child Development has been made at the state level. At the district level, Collectors and Chief Executive Officers of all the districts will be the nodal officers. In urban areas, Commissioner Municipal Corporation and Chief Municipal Officer will be the assistant nodal officers.
