Raipur. Under the special cleanliness campaign run by the Municipal Corporation Raipur under the guidance of Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and the direction of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, now 71 colonies of the city have accepted the quarterly cleanliness ranking of residential colonies and “Clean Green Award-24”. Raghumani Pradhan, nodal officer of Swachh Bharat Mission, said that residential societies have registered themselves for the “Clean Green Award”. With the registration, there has been a sense of awareness among the residents regarding the cleanliness of their colony. To make our premises number one in cleanliness, we are constantly striving to make our colony the best colony in the city in terms of cleanliness by paying special attention to cleanliness. Now the special team will visit these colonies till February 20 and take stock of the cleanliness arrangements. During this time, Google photos will also be uploaded and feedback of the colony residents will also be recorded. The same process applies during national rankings. The special team conducted inspection tours in the residential premises on the basis of cleanliness points, arrangement for keeping the garbage separated from wet and dry waste in the premises, cleaning of roads and drains, level of cleanliness awareness among the colony residents, regarding cleanliness. Publicity in the colony, separate toilet facility for employees, paan, gutka marks, cleanliness innovations, street light facility, cleanliness ranking of the cleanest green residential complex by checking the actual condition of the garden/greenery and taking feedback related to cleanliness. Will be released by the Municipal Corporation in the last week of February.
