Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has taken a big decision to provide relief to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Beneficiaries have been given permission to carry sand from leased sites in small carts for use in the construction of their PM residence.
The Chief Minister said that the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana will not have to pay any royalty for carrying sand in small vehicles from sand lease sites for the construction of their houses. The Chief Minister’s decision was announced by Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary in the Assembly. He said that houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana were not built in the last five years. Now 18 lakh houses are being built. Beneficiaries can complete the work of their houses soon. For this, the beneficiaries will be able to take sand from the lease sites for the Prime Minister’s residence in a small vehicle.
It is noteworthy that more than 18 lakh houses across the state have been sanctioned by the government of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Their construction work has started. The Chief Minister has taken this big decision to ensure that the beneficiaries do not face any inconvenience in the construction works.
