CG NEWS: Budget 2024-25: Employment revolution will come, education will get a new dimension

Vishnudev government of Chhattisgarh presented its first budget. Finance Minister O.P. While presenting his first main budget 2024-25, Chaudhary has made a big announcement for the youth. OP Chaudhary said, Chhattisgarh Udyam Kranti Yojana will be started to provide self-employment to the youth. Provision has been made to develop an IT hub in Naya Raipur for the youth. 1089 posts have been increased in the state police force. Recruitment will be done on 373 posts of Lab Technician in government hospitals. On the lines of Nalanda campus, Central Library will be started at 22 places in the state, for which a budget of Rs 148 crore has been kept.

For UPSC preparation, a provision has been made to increase the seats of 65 children in the Youth Hostel in Dwarka, Delhi to 200 children. Also, National Education Policy 2020 will be implemented. Chhattisgarh Institutes of Technology will be established. The education system will be improved with the help of Artificial Intelligence based system. A council for research innovation will be formed as per the provisions of the National Education Policy 2020.

Apart from this, OP Chaudhary said, like the Indian Institutes of Technology established at the national level, Chhattisgarh Institutes of Technology will be established in different areas of the state. The Central Instrumentation Facility will be upgraded to promote startup innovation in Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla College, Raipur. School of Commerce Studies will be started as a business oriented course.
