CG NEWS: Attempt to steal by breaking ATM, minor caught

Bilaspur. A minor, who entered the ATM of State Bank of India located at Golbazar and vandalized it with the intention of stealing, has been caught red-handed by the staff of ACCU team Bilaspur and police station Kotwali, a case has been registered on the report of ATM manager Virendra Kumar Suryavanshi. Action is being taken.
The details of the incident are as follows that on February 5, at around 2:30 pm, information was received that the ATM of State Bank of India located at Gol Bazaar Chowk was being tampered by some unknown person. On information, the team of ACCU Bilaspur and police station Kotwali. The ATM staff immediately reached Gol Bazaar Chowk and checked it. A 15-year-old minor was caught red-handed while trying to steal money by breaking the ATM machine with a hammer, from whom a hammer was seized.
Legal action is being taken in the case as per the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
