Raipur. Under the guidance of Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, the art center located in Nalanda campus is starting to take shape. The art center is being constructed rapidly and will start operating from the month of March. In this center, children and youth will be given training in various arts and through which they will be able to become skilled.
The art center will be operated by forming a committee under the chairmanship of the collector and there will also be facility for registration for the trainees. From small children to youth, training will be given in the centre. Separate training rooms have been prepared in the campus. Where along with training in arts like play art, mehndi, flute, tabla, harmonium, banjo etc., training in folk music, piano and guitar will also be given. Training in dance, Zumba etc. will also be available here. Working area has also been created in the campus. It is noteworthy that Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh had come to inspect the Nalanda complex, when he had given instructions to build an art center for the city residents, in the same sequence this art center is being constructed. This will provide employment opportunities to artists and people will be able to get training in various methods.
Construction of recording studio and stage in the art center complex
A room for recording songs has been constructed in the Kala Center premises. There will also be facility for presentation of cultural programs from time to time on the stage built in the campus.
