Raipur. Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra has instructed all the Zone Commissioners, Revenue Officers, Assistant Revenue Officers of the Municipal Corporation to collect the outstanding revenue strictly as per the rules from all the big defaulters in all the 70 wards of all the 10 zones of the Municipal Corporation Raipur through a campaign in the interest of the Municipal Corporation Raipur. Giving the highest priority, instructions have been given to ensure continuity and in case of non-payment of dues in the institutions of big defaulters, to take action of sealing/confiscation against the concerned defaulters. As per the instructions of the Commissioner, the teams of the Revenue Department of all the 10 zones are continuously running an intensive campaign every day in the presence of Zone Commissioners, Revenue Officers, Assistant Revenue Officers to recover the outstanding revenue from the defaulters. Today, in this sequence, the teams of Municipal Corporation Revenue Department took strict action to seal 4 institutions concerned for non-payment of dues to the Corporation. During the proceedings, the Corporation Revenue Department received Rs 1776052. Payment was received immediately at the site.
Today, the team of Municipal Corporation Zone 2 Revenue Department took action against the big defaulters of the Corporation since the year 2017-18, Krishna Agarwal Shop No. 10, Anand Agarwal Shop No. 11, Nisha Kakkar Shop No. 15 in the area of Ward 27. Zone 2 today took action against 6 big defaulters amounting to Rs 1666779. To recover the dues, immediate sealing action was taken in the institutions of 3 defaulters for not paying the dues to the corporation, the remaining 3 defaulters immediately paid a total of Rs 1488779. The dues were paid to the corporation team at the site. The team of Zone 3 conducted a campaign in Ward No. 11, 12, 29 and took action against 3 defaulters. As soon as the action started, the concerned 3 defaulters handed over the total outstanding amount of Rs 140,000 to the corporation team at the site. Made immediate payment and protected himself from proceedings.
Municipal Corporation Zone 8 Revenue Department has collected Rs 264773 from the year 2020-21 in the area of Veer Savarkar Nagar Ward No. 1. Action was taken against the defaulters Ashok Vijay Vinod Navani, Mahima Devi Ranveer Singh, action was taken at two places at the site, in which one place was sealed for non-payment of dues and the other defaulter deposited the entire outstanding amount of Rs 147273. Was paid immediately.
Today the Municipal Corporation has collected Rs 1931552. By running a campaign against the outstanding demand bill notices, action was taken to seal the institutions of four big defaulters. During the proceedings, the Municipal Corporation Revenue Department team received Rs. 1776052: Was paid immediately. As per the instructions of the Commissioner, the campaign will continue by the Revenue Department teams of all the 10 zones, giving top priority to the interest of the Municipal Corporation. The Municipal Corporation Revenue Department has once again appealed to all the defaulters to immediately pay the entire amount of outstanding revenue to the Municipal Corporation Revenue Department team and be safe from the inconvenience of the proceedings. Otherwise, sealing/confiscation action will be taken aggressively as per rules.
