Description Today on 16.02.2025, verbal information has been received from an informer that a boy named Rocky Bablani, resident of Suraj Nagar, has kept Ganja hidden in a plastic bag in the ruins of old liquor distillery for illegal sale. After informing the senior officers about the information, the police team along with independent witnesses left for the spot. On reaching the place mentioned by the informer, a person tried to run away after seeing the police, who was surrounded and caught. When the arrested youth was questioned about the sack kept with him, he claimed it to be his and when notice was given to him to produce valid documents regarding the possession of illegal ganja, the youth said that he did not have any valid documents regarding the possession of illegal ganja. 20 kg 620 gram of illegal ganja worth approximately Rs. 2,06000 was seized from the possession of the youth in the presence of witnesses and the act of the accused Rocky alias Rakesh Bablani, father Mansukh Bablani, age 35 years, resident of BSUP Colony, Suraj Nagar Labhandi, Police Station Telibandha, District Raipur, was found to be under Section 22(C) of the NDPS Act, a crime was registered against the accused. The accused was arrested and produced in judicial remand, investigation in the case is ongoing.
