Cabinet Minister Dr. Premchand Agarwal held a discussion with the District Magistrate of Dehradun on various topics and provided necessary guidelines during the meeting. At the government residence, Dr. Agarwal inquired about the cleanliness efforts in the Dehradun metropolitan area. The District Magistrate informed him that there are enough staff members for the cleaning operations, and regular cleaning is being conducted along with the spraying of pesticides.
Dr. Agarwal also sought information about the removal of waste in Sheesham Bada and the regular disposal of garbage. He emphasized the need to expedite the process of clearing the original waste from Sheesham Bada. Additionally, Dr. Agarwal asked about the parking facility being developed near Gandhi Park by the Dehradun Municipal Corporation. The District Magistrate explained that two hydraulic parking systems are being constructed, along with ten charging points. This project will be carried out under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Dr. Agarwal provided essential directions regarding the proposed parking and waste removal to the District Magistrate, who is also serving as the administrator of the Rishikesh Municipal Corporation.
