Raipur, 18 December 2024: Chief Minister  Vishnu Dev Sai has said that by adopting the messages of Baba Guru Ghasidas, our government is moving ahead on the path of development with the basic mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vishwas. Chief Minister  Sai was addressing the 268th birth anniversary celebrations and three-day fair program of Baba Guru Ghasidas organized at Lalpur Dham, the tehsil headquarters of Mungeli district today. The Chief Minister prayed at Baba Guru Ghasidas Temple and Jaitkham and wished for the prosperity and well-being of the state. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced the approval of Rs 50 lakh for the renovation of Baba Guru Ghasidas temple in Lalpur and the construction of Nalanda campus in Lormi. On reaching the venue of the program, the members of Satnami Kalyan Samiti gave a grand welcome to the guests including Chief Minister  Sai by putting Gajmala on them.

Chief Minister  Sai, while addressing the program, congratulated and wished everyone on Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti and said that Baba Guru Ghasidas strongly opposed high-low, discrimination, untouchability, preached Manke-Manke Ek Saman. He said that as per the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, more than 70 lakh women are getting the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The remuneration rate for tendu leaf collection has been increased to Rs 5500. Paddy is being purchased at the rate of 21 quintals per acre and Rs 3100 per quintal. The government has constituted an authority keeping in mind the development of the people of Scheduled Castes and Tribes. The number of seats in the Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi has been increased for the preparation of UPSC competitive examination, so that more and more youth can get the benefit of studies and better education.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister  Arun Sao said that taking everyone along was Baba’s message and our government is moving forward with the resolution of this message. Chhattisgarh is developing gradually under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He congratulated and wished everyone on Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti. Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel said that he had the privilege of being present in Lalpur and worshiping Baba Guru Ghasidas ji. Baba gave the message of walking on the path of truth. All of you should move forward in life by following his messages. Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs  Tokhan Sahu, while congratulating and wishing Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti, said that people of every society come to Lalpur Dham and bow their heads with reverence. Today we are celebrating Baba’s 268th birth anniversary, so that we can take a pledge to follow Baba’s footsteps. He said that Baba Guru Ghasidas united the entire human society with the power of his meditation and austerity. He removed the feeling of untouchability and inspired the entire society to move forward. Paying homage to the saint community, he announced Rs 10 lakh for the development of Lalpur from the MP fund. On this occasion, local public representatives, divisional commissioner  Mahadev Kavre, IG  Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Rahul Dev, Superintendent of Police  Bhojram Patel, eminent citizens  Komal Giri Goswami,  Phanishwar Patle and a large number of followers of Satnami community were present.
