Busniess News : Shock for SBI account holders, debit card service will become expensive from April 1

The country’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has given a big shock to the account holders and announced increase in debit card charges. According to the information received, State Bank of India- SBI has made a major change in the annual maintenance fee related to debit card. The new rates will become effective from April 1, 2024. SBI has shared this information on the official website of the bank.

SBI has increased the fees for Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card and My Card from the existing Rs 175 + GST to Rs 250 + GST.

Classic Debit Card
State Bank of India has increased the annual maintenance charge for several cards including Classic, Silver, Global and Contactless Debit Cards from Rs 125 + GST to Rs 200 + GST.

Annual maintenance for Platinum Debit Card has been increased from Rs 250 + GST to Rs 325 + GST.

Premium Business Debit Card
The annual maintenance fee for Pride Premium Business Debit Card is Rs. It has been increased from Rs 350+GST to Rs 425. There is additional GST charge in this.
