Business News: Invest wisely in the stock market, avoid greed

Due to the rapidly growing economy due to investment, the Indian stock market has recently achieved the fourth position among the world’s top stock markets… after America, China and Japan. For the past few years, the inclination of domestic investors towards the Indian stock market has increased rapidly. In the desire to get higher returns in less time, common investors invest their hard-earned money in any company on the advice of finance influencers and experts without assessing the risk. This is proving to be a loss-making deal for them.

On the other hand, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is repeatedly instructing investors to do research before accepting the advice received from finance influencers and other sources. Despite this, due to lack of time and financial knowledge, most of the investors are investing on the basis of advice given on business channels and social media.
Don’t fall for what influencers say
Finance influencers or experts influence people’s financial decisions with their opinions. Some influencers create an atmosphere in favor of a particular company by taking huge commission and also show dreams of big profits. Influenced by these, people invest in any company. Some people make huge profits in the market by ‘pumping and dumping’ shares of many companies. Small investors suffer the most loss in this.

Take decision only after counter-check
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had recently said that there are 6-7 people out of 10 who are giving investment advice under the influence of someone else. It is very important to ‘counter-check’ anyone’s advice. Questions should be asked before taking any investment decision.
