Raipur: 500 boxes of liquor have been seized from the house of Block Committee President Mahendra Verma in Patan Assembly constituency of Durg district. Reacting strongly to this, BJP State General Secretary Sanjay Srivastava said that the relationship between former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and liquor is very old, even now after losing power, Bhupesh Baghel and Congress are not refraining from doing illegal liquor business. Congress first committed liquor scam in Chhattisgarh while in power and even after being ousted from power, it is distributing illegal liquor. Sanjay Srivastava said that Bhupesh Baghel and Congress are no longer interested in winning civic and panchayat elections in a democratic way. Under the good governance of BJP, Congress will not be able to disrupt the democratic processes in the elections with its disgusting act. He said that Congress should refrain from such acts and should learn a lesson.
Sanjay Srivastava taunted that Congress has made a hat-trick of not opening its account in the Delhi Assembly elections, and now Congress has been wiped out from the whole country. The people of the country and the state have completely rejected Congress. He said that in the previous Congress government, Bhupesh Baghel, along with his close ones, committed liquor scams worth 2100 crores and many other big scams. Troubled by their misrule, the public gave a crushing defeat to Congress in the Lok Sabha and Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. Along with this, Congress had to face defeat in the assembly by-elections as well. Despite this, Congress is not learning a lesson. Sanjay Srivastava said that news is coming from many places that people are also dying due to consumption of illegal liquor and fake liquor. Even while in power, Congress played with the health of the people by selling fake liquor and now their leaders are distributing liquor, it is not known which liquor they are distributing. But under the good governance of BJP’s Vishnudev Sai, strict action will be taken against such acts. He said that the public will teach a lesson to the Congress in this urban body and panchayat election as well. Under the good governance of BJP, lotus will bloom in all the bodies and Congress will be wiped out.
