Big announcement by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, January 22 will be a dry day in Chhattisgarh
Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has made a big announcement regarding the consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple on January 22 in Ayodhya. He has said that the state government has decided to declare January 22 as a dry day in the entire Chhattisgarh state.
The Chief Minister has said that it is our good fortune that Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. The life consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala is going to be held at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya on 22 January. There is an atmosphere of happiness among all the people in entire Chhattisgarh regarding this. There will be a festive atmosphere in the entire state on this day. Like Diwali, lamps will also be lit in homes. Chhattisgarh government has decided to declare January 22 as dry day in the entire Chhattisgarh state.
The Chief Minister said that a consignment of vegetables will be sent to Ayodhya from vegetable producing farmers from his maternal home Chhattisgarh for the enjoyment of Shri Ram Lalla. He said that earlier on December 30, with the help of rice millers, 300 metric tons of fragrant rice was sent from Chhattisgarh to Ayodhya for offering to Shri Ramlala.
Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government celebrated Good Governance Week in the state from December 25 to January 2. Our resolution and ideal of good governance has been Ramrajya.
