Bhoj Mahotsav will be held in the memory of Raja Bhoj: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the general public will be introduced to the work and personality of Raja Bhoj, who has made a special contribution in the field of public welfare, engineering, writing and bravery. A three-day Bhoj Dev Mahotsav will also be held in Bhopal in the memory of Raja Bhoj. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav today gave instructions to the culture and other related departments in the presence of ministers regarding the outline of this festival.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the contribution of Raja Bhoj should be displayed through exhibitions, film screenings, theatrical performances, musical programs and book displays. Raja Bhoj did public welfare works of lake construction and dam construction from Dhar to Bhopal and other areas. He has also written about 125 works. Handwritten letters and other collected items of Raja Bhoj should also be brought in front of the general public.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that fellowships should be provided and research work should be encouraged on the works of Raja Bhoj. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the identity of Raja Bhoj is associated with Bhopal. One or more Raja Bhoj gates should also be constructed in his name on the Bhopal city border.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Jagdish Devda, Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. Prahlad Patel, School Education Minister Mr. Uday Pratap Singh, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Mr. Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Chief Secretary Mrs. Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Culture Mr. Shivshekhar Shukla and concerned officials were present in the meeting.
