Officials of Women and Child Development Department lodged FIR against the guilty person
Raipur 22 December: Bastar Collector Haris S has directed the District Officers of Women and Child Development Department to investigate the irregularities related to village Talur in Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He has directed to seize the bank account of the concerned person and take action for recovery and register an FIR against the person involved in this work. Women and Child Development Department has also taken necessary action against the concerned on Sunday.
Bastar District Program Officer said that a complaint was received regarding Sunny Leone getting thousand rupees in Mahtari Vandan Yojana, which is being shown in the media, preliminary investigation of which revealed that the said application was registered from the ID of Anganwadi worker Mrs. Vedmati Joshi of village Talur. On investigating the matter, it was found that a person named Virendra Joshi is withdrawing money in his account illegally by committing fraud. An FIR is being registered against the concerned person for the crime of cheating the government. Recovery proceedings are also being initiated by holding his bank account. Apart from this, disciplinary action is being proposed against the concerned worker and the then supervisor.
