He alleged that the branch manager, Radha Raman Singh Rajput, demanded a bribe of 75,000 rupees to release his approved loan of 600,000 rupees. After Lovanshi paid an initial bribe of 10,000 rupees, the Lokayukta police set a trap, leading to the manager’s arrest while accepting a second installment of 5,000 rupees.
