Bangladesh won the first match of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh by 10 wickets. With this win, Bangladesh has also taken a 1-0 lead in the series. This is the first time in Pakistan’s cricket history that it has faced defeat in a Test match at the hands of Bangladesh. Pakistan had given Bangladesh a target of just 30 runs to win, which Bangladesh achieved easily.

Initially, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Pakistan declared their innings at 448 for the loss of 6 wickets. Saud Shakeel scored 141 runs and Mohammad Rizwan played a brilliant innings of 171 runs for Pakistan. In response, the Bangladesh team was all out for 565 runs and took a lead of 117 runs in the first innings.

In the second innings, Pakistan’s team was reduced to 146 runs, giving Bangladesh an easy target of just 30 runs to win. Bangladesh achieved this target in just 6.3 overs without losing any wicket, thereby registering their first Test win against Pakistan.
