Balodabazar Collector reached village to get information about flagship schemes
Raipur. Balodabazar- Collector Deepak Soni has visited villages to get information about flagship schemes in Bhatapara district. During this, he inspected the cooperative society, ration shop, school building, panchayat building operated in village Vishrampur and village Adbandha, Damakheda and Simga town under Simga development block, met the beneficiaries of Community Health Center, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission and took stock of various other construction works.
Met the farmers and common villagers present in the cooperative society located in village Vishrampur under Gram Panchayat Dhekuna and got information about the availability of fertilizer seeds, time loan, on which the villagers lodged a complaint about the shortage of Sarna seeds. Seeing the seriousness of the complaint, Mr. Soni immediately resolved the problem of the farmers and directed the concerned officials to get the seeds from Kasdol and make them available.
Similarly, in Gram Panchayat Damakheda, while observing the activities conducted by the women self-help group associated with Bihan group under Ajeevika Mission, he got information about the positive changes in life by joining the activities conducted by the women of the self-help group. The women told Soni that their economic condition has improved a lot by joining Bihan.
In Damakheda, incense stick manufacturing is being done by Annapurna Self Help Group Committee, cake manufacturing by other groups and fish farming, goat rearing by the group in village Adabandha. Mr. Soni praised the work of the self-help group and called it a role model for the entire district. On this occasion, a goat shed was demanded by the women self-help group in Adabandha. On which the Collector has given instructions to the District Panchayat CEO to approve the goat shed. Along with this, he expressed satisfaction and praised the work done under MNREGA. He said that other employment related works including fish farming can be done very well in the said pond. Mr. Soni discussed with the members of the women self-help group present there and took stock of the situation.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin
The collector visited the houses of beneficiaries benefiting from Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin in village Adabandha and inspected the constructed houses. During this, the house owners and their family members shared their views about the changes in their lives due to the construction of a permanent house. Along with this, he expressed displeasure over the slow progress of the work going on under Jal Jeevan Mission in the village. Along with this, he also expressed displeasure over digging a pit in the middle of the CC road for laying pipes and gave important instructions to the officers for improvement.
Met the newly admitted school children, encouraged the children by asking them the multiplication table
Collector Deepak Soni reached the primary school of village Adabandha and met the newly admitted school children of class 1. Mr. Soni encouraged the children of class 5 by asking them multiplication table, addition and subtraction and by answering questions. On asking the multiplication table, the children recited the entire multiplication table to the collector, on which the collector also presented toffees to the children. Along with this, the collector asked what they want to become when they grow up. On which the children talked about becoming doctors, engineers and police.
During the inspection, the collector also checked the attendance register of the teachers and the quality of education including mid-day meals. During this, the villagers demanded an additional building for the school, on which the collector has assured to take action soon and resolve it.
Visited the Samadhi Sthal and took blessings
The newly appointed collector Deepak Soni, who reached Damakheda for the first time, visited the Samadhi Sthal temple and took the blessings. During this, the members of Shri Sadguru Kabir Dharmdas Saheb Vanshaval Pratinidhi Sabha provided Soni with detailed information about the Guruvansh tradition, history and importance of the place of Sant Kabir Das Ji. On which Collector Shri Soni shared old things and told that I was asked about Kabir in the UPSC interview. At that time only I read about Damakheda, today I am fortunate that I got a chance to come to Damakheda. Also, during this time, the members of Shri Sadguru Kabir Dharmdas Saheb Vanshaval Pratinidhi Sabha honored the collector by presenting him with fruits, sal and book on his first visit to Damakheda.
