Ayushman Yojana is a boon for the common man: State Minister Patel
Bhopal. Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Narendra Shivaji Patel has said that Ayushman Bharat Yojana “Niramaya” is proving to be a boon for the common man. Now common citizens are also able to get health benefits by getting high level modern medical services. He said that common citizens need correct information so that they can easily avail the benefits of Ayushman Yojana. It is important that the common citizen gets information about the appropriate empanelled hospital according to his medical problem, so that they can easily get the benefits of the scheme. Minister of State Shri Patel inaugurated the Ayushman Yojana orientation workshop by lighting the lamp at the Administrative Academy Bhopal.
Minister of State Shri Patel said that under the glorious leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the strong guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, facilities in the health sector are being continuously expanded, public welfare schemes are being created. The role of the staff of the Health Department is very important in the implementation of these schemes. Make full efforts to take Madhya Pradesh to the top in various health standards.
Provide service with empathy: Principal Secretary Mr. Yadav
Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education Mr. Sandeep Yadav said that in the delivery of health services, doctors should treat with full empathy by keeping in mind human sensibilities. In the implementation of various public welfare programs, the results of delivery of services and improvement in health standards are important. Integrated efforts should be made in this direction.
Digital wallet of the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana will be made CEO Ayushman Dr. Bharsat
Chief Executive Officer (Ayushman) Dr. Yogesh Bharsat gave information about the activities done in the Ayushman Bharat Yojana awareness fortnight, the benefits provided by the scheme, new dimensions of expansion of the scheme, action plan and innovations to be done for better implementation. Dr. Bharsat informed that work is being done to provide health services through Ayushman Yojana, digitization of health information under ABDM, easy access to health services through Health Wellness Center, strengthening health infrastructure under Abhiam (Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission). Work is being done on “Ayushman Wallet” for better implementation of the scheme. On starting this service, citizens will be able to see the updated status of the benefits available as per their eligibility and the usage made. This will be very effective in preventing leakage of the scheme.
CEO Dr. Bharsat informed that in Madhya Pradesh, treatment services worth Rs 1,129 crore have been provided to 95 thousand 317 cancer patients, treatment services worth Rs 972 crore to 91 thousand 628 heart disease patients and dialysis services worth Rs 179 crore have been provided free of cost to 20 thousand 290 patients under Ayushman Yojana. 1 thousand 56 hospitals in the state are empanelled under Ayushman Yojana. 1 thousand 952 types of medical services are being provided to the beneficiaries.
In the workshop, presentation will be given by Beneficiary Facilitation Agency, Implementation Support Agency on inclusion of citizens above 70 years of age in the scheme and benefits, ABDM, better implementation of Ayushman Yojana. Along with this, the implementation of various schemes of the Health Department will also be reviewed. Commissioner Health Mr. Tarun Rathi, Additional Commissioner Medical Education Dr. Pankaj Jain, Controller FDA Mr. Mayank Agarwal, Director Health Mr. Dinesh Srivastava, Director Medical Education Dr. Arun Srivastava, Director IEC Dr. Rachna Dubey along with senior departmental officers, CMHOs and Civil Surgeons of various districts participated in the workshop cum review meeting.
