Approval of Rs 30 crore 56 lakh for the “Nutrition as well as studies” training program under Saksham Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0 scheme

The cabinet meeting was held in the ministry under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The cabinet approved Rs 30 crore 56 lakh for the “Poshan Bhi – Padhai Bhi” training program under the centrally sponsored Saksham Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0 scheme and its organization as per the norms of the Government of India. Its objective is to promote early stimulation in the first thousand days of childhood, ECCE (care and education) for the age group of 3 to 6 years, to develop basic understanding of ECCE and educational approach to Anganwadi workers, to provide high quality game based. Its goal is to enhance the capacity of Anganwadi workers and to make one Child Development Project Officer and 3 supervisors in the project as master trainers.
Wheat procurement at Rs 2,600 per quintal
In relation to payment of bonus on wheat procurement to farmers in Rabi marketing year 2025-26 and disposal of surplus wheat, the Council of Ministers has decided to increase the bonus amount on wheat procurement from Rs. 125/- per quintal to Rs. 175/- per quintal.
According to the decision, wheat will be procured at Rs 2,600 per quintal. The procurement process will begin from March 15. A bonus of Rs 175 per quintal will be given on procurement of wheat at the MSP rate of Rs 2,425 per quintal. Rs 1,400 crore will be spent from the state treasury on the procurement of 80 lakh metric tonnes of wheat.
Farmers will get incentive amount of Rs 4000 per hectare on paddy procurement
Under paddy procurement, the state government will spend an amount of Rs 480 crore on paddy grown in 12.20 lakh hectares to 6.70 lakh farmers at the rate of Rs 4000 per hectare to the farmers selling paddy in Kharif marketing season 2024.
Approval of Rs 138 crore 41 lakh for pending digitization of revenue land records in the state
The cabinet has approved the pending digitization of revenue land records in the state under the Digital India Land Record Modernization Program of the Government of India. As per the approval, the estimated total amount of Rs. 138 crore 41 lakh (including tax) has been approved for the pending digitization of revenue land records. The digitization work will be implemented through open tender by M.P. Land Records Management Committee (MPLRS).
Decision to reorganize three forest divisions under Chhindwara and newly formed Pandhurna district
The cabinet has decided to reorganize the three forest divisions East/West/South Chhindwara under the present Chhindwara forest circle (Chhindwara district and newly formed Pandhurna district). According to the decision, 662.742 sq. km. forest area of South Chhindwara forest division will be included in the newly formed Pandhurna forest division and the remaining 293.944 sq. km. forest area will be included in East and West Chhindwara forest divisions and South Chhindwara forest division will be abolished. Posts will be reallocated from South Chhindwara forest division to reorganized Pandhurna and East and West Chhindwara forest divisions.
