Approval of Railway Multitracking Project between Ratlam-Nagda is a big gift for the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the double engine government is working with full determination to speed up the development of rail facilities and expansion of rail network in Madhya Pradesh. Currently, the golden period of the country is going on. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi believes that there is no better means of transport than rail in the country. Therefore, the central government is expanding different railway tracks in the state while modernizing the railway stations. In this sequence, the Union Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the railway multitracking project between Ratlam and Nagda, which is a big gift for Madhya Pradesh. This will not only increase rail connectivity in the Malwa region but will also benefit the economy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav for the new rail project. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav joined Panna virtually in a press conference related to the approval of rail projects on Thursday.
Ratlam-Nagda project will save 7.5 crore liters of diesel every year
Railway Minister Shri Vaishnav said that laying the third and fourth railway lines between Ratlam and Nagda will save 7.5 crore liters of diesel every year. The Ratlam-Nagda multitracking project will also benefit the environment. This will prevent the emission of 38 crore kilograms of carbon dioxide. In terms of carbon emissions, this is a project equivalent to planting 1.5 crore trees. MP Shri Anil Ferozia, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chaitanya Kashyap, Senior MP Shri Vishnu Dutt Sharma and other public representatives were present in the virtual program.
Madhya Pradesh will get the gift of three new trains
Railway Minister Shri Vaishnav informed that Madhya Pradesh is going to get the gift of three new trains soon. These include the first train Rewa-Satna-Jabalpur-Pune, the second train Jabalpur to Raipur via Nainpur-Gondia and the third train Gwalior-Bhopal-Pune-Bangalore. Two months ago, a new train service has been started from New Delhi to Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow).
For Simhastha, we will develop railway facilities on the lines of Prayagraj
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a large number of rail users will be benefited from the new rail projects started by the Railway Ministry in the state. It is necessary to increase rail connectivity to the world heritage site Khajuraho and to prepare small underpasses in view of Simhastha-2028. Railway Minister Shri Vaishnav assured Chief Minister Dr. Yadav that for the grand organization of Simhastha, development work will be done on rail facilities up to Ujjain on the lines of Prayagraj.
Nearly two million citizens of two provinces will be benefited
It is noteworthy that the Union Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Shri Modi on Wednesday approved two multitracking projects for Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3,399 crore. Under these multitracking projects, the third and fourth lines will be laid between Ratlam and Nagda. The fourth rail line will be laid from Wardha to Balharshah in Maharashtra. On completion of these two multitracking projects, the Indian railway network will expand by about 176 kilometers. Railway connectivity will reach 19.74 lakh citizens residing in about 784 villages. This will benefit passengers with smooth and uninterrupted travel. Along with this, transportation of goods will also gain momentum.
