Another historic step towards the total destruction of Naxalism: 26 hardcore Naxalites surrendered in Dantewada

Raipur 7 April 2025: The decisive campaigns being run by the Chhattisgarh government against Naxalism have got another big success. Today, 26 hardcore Naxalites surrendered before the security forces in Dantewada district, which is a proof of the success and credibility of the state’s new surrender and rehabilitation policy – 2025. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while heartily congratulating the security forces on this occasion, said that our resolve to eradicate Naxalism is getting continuous success. Niyad Nella Nar Yojana and Lon Varratu Abhiyan played an important role in this achievement, which are being run to connect tribal youth with the mainstream. Chief Minister Sai said that the positive results of the announcement of special assistance amount of ₹ 1 crore on declaring the red terror affected villages Naxal-free by Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji are also now coming to the fore. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, a resolution has been taken to completely free the state from Naxal terror by March 31, 2026. Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that we will definitely achieve this target within the stipulated time frame. He said that this is not just a campaign but a mission for peace, security and prosperity of Chhattisgarh.
