Mahakumbh Stampede: 14 Devotees Killed, Over 50 Injured in Prayagraj Tragedy A tragic stampede broke out during the second *Amrit Snan* on *Mauni Amavasya* at the Sangam in Prayagraj’s Mahakumbh. The unfortunate incident led to the deaths of 14 devotees, while more than 50 pilgrims sustained injuries. Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his condolences and announced a toll-free helpline for devotees from Uttarakhand. Helpline for Assistance and Information Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman informed that any devotees from Uttarakhand affected by the stampede can reach out to these helpline numbers for support, assistance, or any other updates related to the incident. The government is making all necessary arrangements to ensure the safety and well-being of the devotees.
