After Global Investors Summit 2025, 1744 acres of land will be allotted to 46 industrial units in the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that we are celebrating the year 2025 as the Industry Year. This is a wonderful time. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the fragrance of investment in Madhya Pradesh is spreading across the country. The sequence of development is continuing in the state. Industrialists from all states are welcome in this development journey. Where public representatives, industrialists, officials are together contributing to the industrial development of the state. He said that I am happy that after the organization of Global Investors Summit 2025 in February, Madhya Pradesh is receiving investment proposals not only from the whole country but also from abroad. It is a matter of pride for the state that representatives from more than 65 countries participated in GIS. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed allotment orders and letters of intent to the representatives of 15 industrial units. He said that in the era of changing technology, we have to increase the use of technology. The era of Made in India is going on under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ” Conference of Food Processing Entrepreneurs” at Krishi Udyog Sammelan in Narsinghpur district on Monday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to realize the concept of developed Madhya Pradesh, we will have to make equal progress in all areas. He said that there are immense possibilities of development of mining, textile, agriculture and food processing based industries in the state. Agriculture industry conference is being organized at four places for agriculture based industries. He said that Madhya Pradesh’s agriculture growth rate is currently more than 12 percent and it is leading in the country.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after the successful organization of Global Investors Summit 2025 (GIS), new opportunities have been created for industries in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has allotted 1744 acres of land to 46 industrial units. An investment of about Rs 24,500 crore is proposed in these units , which is likely to create about 35,000 employment opportunities. Among the major industrial units that have received land allotment, M/s Patanjali Group , Rewa has been allotted the maximum land of 433 acres. Apart from this, 264 acres have been allotted to M/s Ultratech Cement , Sidhi , 148 acres to M/s BEML , Raisen , 55 acres to M/s Gautam Solar and 40 acres to M/s Glaxo Smith Asia Pvt.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in today’s program, investment proposals worth Rs. 4376 crores have been received from a total of 52 units , which will provide more than 6100 employment opportunities. These investment proposals will accelerate industrial development in the state and the youth will get new employment opportunities.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Narsinghpur district is famous for sugarcane crop across the country. He said that the target of sprinkler irrigation for sugarcane crop will be increased. He said that it is our resolve that the income of farmers will be increased. Our government is making efforts to ensure that farmers get the right price for their produce. More and more food processing based industries will be established. The budget has been increased in all the areas of agriculture, horticulture, fruit and vegetable production. He said that the government is committed to increasing the income of farmers and providing employment to the youth. Efforts are being made to overcome the difficulties of investors through the progressive policies of the state.

There is immense potential for agro-based and food processing industries in Narsinghpur: Minister Shri Patel

Panchayat and Rural Development , Labor Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel expressed his hearty congratulations and gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for organizing “Agriculture Industry Conference-2025” in Narsinghpur district. He also thanked the investors/industrialists from across the country for participating in the event.

Minister Shri Patel said that the farmers of Narsinghpur district have contributed significantly to the development of the state and the country by adopting research and new technologies. He said that Narsinghpur is the state’s largest sugarcane producing district , where most sugar factories are established. The district has favorable conditions for agriculture and there are immense possibilities for processing agricultural products.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput said that ever since Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has taken over the reins of the state , Madhya Pradesh has been making unprecedented progress in every field. He said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the state is being taken to new heights by establishing coordination between industrial prosperity and agricultural innovation. Shri Rajput said that by inviting local industrialists in the Regional Industry Conclave (RIC), arrangements have been made for direct communication , which has accelerated the processes of investment and industry establishment. Necessary approvals are now being obtained at a fast pace through the single window system. As a result, many local entrepreneurs have also established their industries , which has increased employment opportunities.

Additional Chief Secretary Horticulture and Food Processing Mr. Anupam Rajan said in his address that there are immense possibilities of development in the field of agriculture and horticulture in the state , and by linking these possibilities with industrial development, ample employment opportunities can be created. The progressive industrial policies , industry-friendly environment and basic facilities here provide the best conditions for overall industrial development including food processing.

Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Raghavendra Singh said that the policies made by the state government in the interest of investors are becoming an example across the country. He said that Madhya Pradesh is such a state in the country , where MSME policy and Startup policy are considered to be the best. The state government has prepared a concrete strategy to promote agriculture based investment along with industries. Principal Secretary Shri Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state is moving rapidly towards establishing coordination between agriculture and industry.

Managing Director of Narmada Sugar Factory, Mr Vivek Maheshwari said that through this event a strong bridge has been established between agriculture and industry. Expressing gratitude to the farmers of Narsinghpur district, he said that ethanol is also being produced from sugarcane , due to which the country’s petroleum imports are decreasing and India is moving rapidly towards self-reliance.
