A new chapter will be written by giving new impetus to development: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Golden history was created in Indore today. On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated 4 flyovers costing about Rs 222.25 crore simultaneously in a single day. This is the first time that 4 flyovers have been inaugurated simultaneously in Indore in a single day. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the flyovers of Bhanwarkuan, Khajrana and Lavkush intersections along with Futi Kothi (Sant Sewalal Chauraha). All the four flyovers will help in making the traffic of Indore smooth and safe. With the opening of the flyovers, lakhs of citizens of Indore will get the facility of smooth and uninterrupted traffic. Futi Kothi flyover has been named after the famous saint Shri Sewalal Ji Maharaj.
On the occasion of inauguration of the flyover, Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Mr. Tulsiram Silawat, MP Mr. Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Mr. Pushyamitra Bhargava, Indore Development Authority Chairman and MLA and former Minister Ms. Usha Thakur, Mr. Mahendra Hardia, Mr. Ramesh Mendola, Mr. Golu Shukla, Mr. Mahendra Hardia and Mr. Manoj Patel, Scheduled Caste Finance Development Corporation Chairman Mr. Sawan Sonkar, District Panchayat President Mrs. Reena Malviya, former Mayor Mr. Krishnamurari Moghe, Mr. Gaurav Randive, Mr. Chintu Verma and other public representatives were specially present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while addressing the inauguration program of the flyover organized at Futi Kothi (Sant Sewalal Chauraha), said that a new chapter of development will be written by giving new impetus to development in the state. By removing all the obstacles to development, the path of all-round development of the state will be paved. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the all-round development of Indore and safe traffic is our priority. Our effort is that traffic should not be obstructed at any intersection of Indore and the drivers should not face any kind of trouble. To solve the traffic related problems of Indore, he said that all the underpasses/over bridges required here will be built. The Chief Minister also talked about doing sewerage line work in Indore at a cost of Rs 400 crore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that those involved in illegal drug trade will not be spared. Strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal drug trade. He said that where the thinking of humans ends, the thinking of saints begins from there. Saints are like a bridge between humans and gods. The contribution of any saint of the society will not be forgotten. He informed about the efforts being made by the state government regarding the conservation of cows in the state, increasing milk production and operation of cow shelters.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the Futi Kothi intersection will be named Sant Sewalal Square. Underpasses and over bridges will be built as per the requirement on the intersections of Indore. In the next 3 years, about 20 to 25 underpasses/over bridges will be built by preparing an action plan. Continuous efforts are being made to improve traffic in Indore city. He also talked about taking strict action against those involved in illegal drug trade. He said that it is our resolve to create a drug-free society.
Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for the 4 over bridges inaugurated. Saint Shri Gopal Chaitanya Maharaj also addressed the program. Shri Eklavya Singh Gaur expressed his gratitude.
During his Indore visit, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav first inaugurated the Futi Kothi flyover. This flyover is 610 meters long. Its width is 24 meters and it has 6 lanes. Its construction cost Rs 57.70 crore. Similarly, he also inaugurated the flyover of Bhawar Kuan. A 625 meter long and 24 meter wide 6 lane flyover has been constructed at Bhanwarkuan at a cost of Rs 55.77 crore. Similarly, one arm of each flyover of Lavkush Chauraha and Khajrana Chauraha was also inaugurated. The cost of Khajrana flyover is Rs 41.19 crore and the cost of Lavkush Chauraha flyover is Rs 66.88 crore. Both the above mentioned flyovers are also 6 lanes. The work on the other arms of these two flyovers is also more than 90 percent complete. The remaining work will also be completed soon.
