“A former Pakistani player was amazed by Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s incredible sixes and raised a significant question about his age.”

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s Age: In the Under-19 Asia Cup, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was one of the players who really captured the hearts of fans. He amazed everyone with his towering sixes. At just 13 years old, he became the youngest cricketer to represent India in the Under-19 category, although his performance was a bit mixed. Vaibhav has even secured an IPL contract at this young age. During the Asia Cup, he scored 76 runs in a match against the UAE and also made a half-century in the semifinal against Sri Lanka. While he was busy playing in this event, there were also questions raised about his age, particularly from fans in Pakistan. A former Pakistani cricketer even questioned how a 13-year-old could hit such powerful sixes. After seeing Vaibhav’s impressive sixes, Junaid Khan asked whether a 13-year-old could really hit them that hard, referencing a video on social media. This sparked further doubts about Vaibhav’s age in India as well. In response, his father, Sanjeev, stepped in to address all the concerns. He mentioned that Vaibhav had participated in the BCCI’s bone test and could take it again if needed, assuring everyone that they had nothing to worry about. Vaibhav has already played a T20 match for Bihar and now has the chance to debut in List A cricket. He could make his debut for Bihar in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and is also the youngest player to have played in the Ranji Trophy.
