A cabinet meeting will be held on June 3 at Pachmarhi Raj Bhavan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: A cabinet meeting will be held at the Raj Bhawan in Pachmarhi on June 3 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. This historic meeting will be dedicated to the valiant King Bhabhut Singh. New resolutions will be made in the meeting for tribal heritage, natural wealth and development. This occasion is being considered a decisive step towards giving national recognition to a religiously, culturally and environmentally important place like Pachmarhi, the pride of tribal heroes.
During his stay in Pachmarhi, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will inaugurate 11 development works worth Rs 33.88 crore under Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and will perform Bhoomi Pujan for 6 works worth about Rs 20.49 crore. After this, the Chief Minister will also plant saplings.
The cabinet meeting will be specially dedicated to the memory of Gond ruler Raja Bhabhut Singh, who used the hills of Pachmarhi for the struggle for independence from the British, governance, defence and cultural preservation. In the cabinet meeting, on the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Raja Bhabhut Singh will be honoured by remembering his valour and contribution in the freedom movement.
This cabinet meeting is not only an administrative initiative, but it will also be historic in terms of respect for natural heritage, rereading of tribal history and local development. This effort of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav strengthens the state government’s policy of ‘development from heritage’.
Chief Minister will inaugurate development works worth crores and perform Bhoomi Pujan
During his stay in Pachmarhi, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will inaugurate 11 development works costing about Rs 33.88 crore under Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and will perform Bhoomi Pujan of 6 works costing about Rs 20.49 crore. These works include beautification of roads in Jaistambh area, pipeline and pump house for water supply at Dhoopgarh, beautification of Pachmarhi entrance, renovation of kitchen, restaurant and swimming pool at Satpura Retreat and expansion of tourism services, inauguration of pink toilet lounge to promote women empowerment at Jatashankar and Pandav caves, development of tourist facilities in Handi Kho and Satpura Tiger Reserve area, development of community center under MICE scheme, establishment of central nursery at Glen View and conversion of hilltop bungalow into home-stay.
