Amazon increased fees, these goods are going to be expensive

Now the prices of many goods on e-commerce company Amazon may increase in the coming time. Amazon sellers have been shocked. In fact, e-commerce company Amazon said on Saturday that it is making changes in seller fees. The company is revising its fee structure for sellers on its marketplace ‘Amazon.in’ from April 7. This includes referral fees, termination fees and weight management fees as well as other ancillary fees. The company has said in the notification that the revised fee structure will be applicable to many categories. According to the company, “These amendments have been made keeping in mind various economic factors like inflation, interest rates and operating costs.” These are in line with prevailing fee trends in the industry.”

The referral fee will be reduced in categories such as apparel, bedsheets, cushion covers and utensils, while it will be increased in categories such as scientific supplies, chimneys, laptop bags and tyres, the company said in a statement. Apart from this, the closing charges have been increased by Rs 3 for the average selling price of more than Rs 1,000. The weight management fee has been increased by Rs 2 in line with inflation in transportation costs.
