Raipur. For the last two days, the weather of Chhattisgarh including the capital Raipur has become monsoon like. It is raining with thunder and lightning in different areas of the state including the capital and at some places hailstorm is also occurring. Due to this reason the humidity has reached 93 percent. It rained with thunderstorms in the capital Raipur for the last two days.

The Meteorological Department estimates that there may be rain in some areas of the state on Wednesday also. The clouds will clear from the next day i.e. 21st March and then the temperature will increase for 5 consecutive days. Unseasonal rain has made the atmosphere pleasant. On Tuesday, it rained intermittently throughout the day in the capital Raipur. A drop in temperature was recorded due to rain and cold winds. The maximum temperature of Raipur was recorded at 30.2 degrees Celsius, which was five degrees Celsius less than normal. Besides, the minimum temperature was also 20.4 degrees Celsius, which was one degree less than normal.

The weather department has predicted the weather to remain similar on Wednesday also. After that the heat may increase again. The weather has changed since two days.

Durg, Patharia, Borla, Malkharod, Mungeli, Tamnar, Tapkara, Kasdol, Champa, Balodabazar received 11 cm rainfall.

Farmers’ worries increased due to hailstorm

Farmers’ worries have increased due to rain and hailstorm for the second consecutive day. There was heavy rainfall along with hailstorm in Kawardha and Kanker. Due to this, wheat, gram crops as well as vegetables have been damaged. The mercury fell in most places. Pendra Road had the lowest temperature of 24.3 degrees. The maximum temperature of Bilaspur was 27.4 degrees, 10 degrees below normal. There is a possibility of rain on Wednesday also.
