After discussion with the youth, best wishes were given to the competitive candidates.

750 seater well equipped library will be open 24 hours for students, currently 550 students have taken membership.

Students will be able to study in the reading zone cum library from March 11.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today inaugurated the newly constructed Smart Reading Zone cum Library Takshashila built at Motibagh in Raipur city. This new library established on the lines of Nalanda campus will benefit the students preparing for competitive examinations. Besides, the pressure of membership and reading on Nalanda Library will also reduce.

With the aim of developing an educational center in the center of the city, the second largest library of the state has been constructed. With this, the youth preparing for competitive exams will get the benefit of good facilities. 550 youth have confirmed their membership to study in the library by paying the prescribed fee. This 750 seater library has been constructed at a cost of Rs 8 crore. The Collector said that entry into the state-of-the-art library will be given to authorized members only through biometric system. Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh told the Chief Minister that 750 readers will get the facility to sit together and read in the two-storey building and currently 10 thousand books are available. A digital reading zone has also been created in the library. Members will also get free Wi-Fi facility along with lifts. Dr. Singh said that there will be parking facility for 800 vehicles in the Takshashila complex and a food zone has also been created in the parking area. Apart from students, disabled people will also get better facilities in this library. From tomorrow, March 11, members will be able to take advantage of the Reading Zone cum Library.

Opportunity to study on rooftop also

There will also be arrangements for studying in a better environment on the rooftop of Takshila Library. Tables and chairs have been installed on the roof of the library for members to sit. Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh has said that in the coming days, books on various subjects will be purchased in the library based on the demand of the members.
