There is immense potential for industrial development in Madhya Pradesh. To bring them to the ground, Regional Industry Conclave 2024 is being organized on a large scale in Ujjain on 1st and 2nd March. This will open doors for industrial development in Ujjain, Indore and other districts of the state. The special thing is that land worth Rs 6774 crore will be allotted to 169 industrialists on the spot in the Industry Conclave. A total of works worth more than Rs 8000 crore will be inaugurated and foundation stone laid in Ujjain. Due to which more than 12000 people will be able to get employment. Bhumi pujan programs will also be organized in major industrial areas of the state. Ujjain Collector Mr. Neeraj Kumar Singh said that so far 662 buyers and 2551 sellers have registered in the Regional Industry Conclave. Registrations are still going on.
Collector Shri Singh said that buyers and sellers mainly include food and agro products, service sector, engineering products, chemical and allied products, textile, plastic, handloom and handicraft, electrical, gem and jewellery, real estate, leather, sports, The sector of fish and marine products is included. Government delegations from USA, Fiji, Mongolia and business delegates from Japan, Germany will participate in the Industry Conclave along with leading industrialists from IT sectors in the country.
Special offering to Lord Mahakal
First of all, blessings of Lord Mahakal will be taken for the all-round development of the state and successful organization of the Industry Conclave. 6.25 quintal laddus will be offered to Lord Mahakal. This special Prasad will also be given to the industrialists participating in the Industry Conclave.
Industrialists will be exposed to the rich religious, scientific and historical importance of Ujjain.
Along with the favorable environment for industrial investment in Madhya Pradesh, industrialists will also be exposed to the rich religious, scientific and historical importance of Ujjain. Great scholars from diverse fields like Kalidas, Varahamihir, Banabhatta, Rajashekhar, Pushpadant, Shankaracharya, Vallabhacharya, Bhartrihari, Diwakar, Katyayana and Bana have been associated with Ujjain. King Vikramaditya made this city his capital. The great Sanskrit scholar Kalidas was in the court of King Vikramaditya. The description of Ujjain is found in Skandapuran and it is considered to be the place of origin of planet Mars. Ujjain also has great importance in its central place in scientific calculation of time. Astrology originated and developed in this central city of Mahakal. Ujjain has provided the system of time calculation to India and abroad. There is a need to understand the natural, geographical and astrological importance of Ujjain.
Kits will be given to industrialists and participants
Special kits will be given to the industrialists and participants attending the Industry Conclave. In this, industry friendly policies of Madhya Pradesh government, land bank, boutique print, special prasad of Lord Mahakal will be given.
Industrial scenario of Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh, located in the center of India, is the second largest state by area and one of the fastest growing states with annual GSDP growth at 8% CAGR over the last decade. The Government of Madhya Pradesh has worked continuously over the last decade to develop the state as an industrial hub and promote it as a potential investment destination. Madhya Pradesh is the leading producer of minerals in India with major production of manganese, copper, glass, limestone etc. and is the only state in India with diamond reserves. It contains more than 8% of India’s total coal reserves and 1,434 billion cubic meters of coal-bed methane. The state government is promoting sustainable use of resources to promote industrial development.
All the 11 agro-climatic zones of the country are in Madhya Pradesh. The state ranks first and second in the production of soybean, pulses, gram, garlic etc. and is the largest producer of wheat, maize and green peas. Madhya Pradesh is one of the leading states in growing banana, orange, guava, mango and lemon fruits. The state contributes more than 40% to India’s total organic farming and according to a report published by DACFW, Government of India, horticulture productivity/hectare in Madhya Pradesh is higher than the national average of India. The state contributes maximum forest area to the total forest area of the country, approximately 94,689.38 square kilometres. About 2,200 varieties of medicinal plants are available in the forests of Madhya Pradesh. The state owns 14 percent of the country’s livestock, which contributes about 10 percent of the country’s total milk production.
