Business news : Stock market starts flat, Sensex up 40 points

After a flat start in the stock market on the first trading day of the week, selling is visible. By 9:57 am on Monday morning, Sensex was down by 170.89 (-0.23%) points at 71,424.60 while Nifty was down by 55.21 (0.25%) points at 21,727.30. Tata Power shares fell 4% while Hero Moto Corp shares fell 3% in early trade.
