CG News: This budget will write a new chapter of development in the double engine government: Lakhan Lal

Raipur. Responding to the Budget 2024-25, Cabinet Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan said that today is a historic day for the 3 crore people of Chhattisgarh. This budget, announced by the government of Prime Minister Modi’s tireless energy and easy-going Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, will not just be an account of income and expenditure but will pave the way for providing benefits to every section of the state through 10 basic strategic pillars. The budget for the foundation of Amritkal of Chhattisgarh was presented in the Assembly by the Finance Minister on Friday. Our government will make an important contribution towards achieving the target set by Modi by 2047.

He said that in this budget, Vishnu Dev Sai government of the state will do many important works in the field of industry and labor in the coming year, thousands of laborers will benefit from it. The new industrial policy will be implemented soon. Deendayal Upadhyay Landless Agricultural Laborers Welfare Scheme will be started to help the landless agricultural labourers. With this, each family will get financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per year. For this, a provision of Rs 500 crore has been made in the budget.

Atal Shram Sashaktikaran Yojana will be started for the welfare of unorganized workers, unorganized sanitation workers, contract laborers, domestic working women and handmaids. A provision of Rs 123 crore has been made for this. Similarly, Shramev Jayate portal will be started for online monitoring of workers’ schemes. A provision of Rs 60 crore has been made for the establishment of new industrial parks, Rs 50 crore for food parks, Rs 200 crore for cost capital grants and Rs 50 crore for interest subsidy. Unity Mall will be built in the capital, local products will get a boost.

Industries Minister Dewangan said that Unity Mall will be established to provide a market place for the sale and promotion of handloom handicrafts and other local products of the state. A budget provision of Rs 80 crore has been made for this.

Big industrialists from India and abroad will come to Chhattisgarh through Invest Chhattisgarh. Invest Chhattisgarh conference will be organized on the lines of Invest India, for this a provision of Rs 5 crore has been made in the budget. Startup Summit will be organized to establish Chhattisgarh Startup Hub and Knowledge Process Outsourcing Units.
