CG NEWS: Collector said- Progress of construction works will be examined in the deadline meeting

Raipur. Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh today held a meeting with Abinash Mishra, Managing Director of Raipur Smart City Limited and reviewed the ongoing schemes. He has asked the work agencies to complete all the work within the stipulated time. He has asked the Smart City officials to attend the deadline meeting every week and give a briefing with the updated information about the progress of the work. He has also said that if any work is found lacking in quality, strict action will be taken as per law.

In this meeting held in the Collectorate Hall, Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh took information about the progress of all the projects and also wanted to know the reasons for delay from the work agencies. Regarding the work of inter-departmental coordination, he himself removed the hindrances by discussing with the concerned department over phone, and also clearly told the agencies that the duration of any project will not be extended and the projects should be completed on time. He also asked the Smart City officials and engineers to supervise in such a way that any hindrance in the work can be removed immediately with departmental coordination and the common citizens can get the full benefits of the schemes with quality within the time limit. He has asked the work agencies to keep the construction materials within the project only and not to spread it on the roads and hamper the traffic. He has also asked the Municipal Corporation to confiscate the materials kept on the road or public place, and also take initiative towards management of the debris generated during construction.
