President’s Award winner Devashish and Mantript Kaur made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai

Chief Minister congratulated and wished them a bright future

Raipur 18 August 2025: Rover Devashish Makhija and Ranger Mantript Kaur Sandhu, who were awarded the President’s Rover Ranger Award, made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Chief Minister Sai felicitated both the talents for their achievements by presenting them with a memento and wished them a bright future.

It is noteworthy that President Draupadi Murmu felicitated Chhattisgarh’s Rover Devashish Makhija, Ranger Mantript Kaur Sandhu and Guide Kusum Sinha in different categories in a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on July 22. Devashish said that this prestigious award was given to 16 participants selected from across the country in a span of four years. It is a matter of pride that this time three participants from Chhattisgarh achieved this feat. He informed that in the same sequence, he has also been honored with the Governor’s Award by the then Governor Anusuiya Uikey. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh State Minority Commission Chairman Amarjeet Singh Chhabra along with Ranger Mantript Kaur’s father Gurjeet Singh Sandhu were also present.
