
BHOPAL: Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Energy Development Corporation Limited, Mr. Amanbir Singh Bains, directed the people involved in the vendors training under ‘PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme’ in Bhopal to ensure quality work in rooftop solar projects. Any kind of negligence in work will not be tolerated. All should receive the training seriously and ensure its 100 percent implementation. Vasudha Foundation was a participant in the training. More than 50 vendors participated in it. MD Mr. Bains said that in the training, vendors were provided with technical knowledge and practical skills related to the installation, operation and maintenance of solar energy systems. Trainee vendors were made aware of the ideal design of the solar system, best installation techniques, selection of appropriate components and the nuances of operation and maintenance of the entire system.
In the training, vendors were given information about national and state level solar energy policies, guidelines, vendor rating system and other regulatory frameworks. Apart from this, they were also provided practical training of advanced design and simulation tools like PV-Syst and Sketch-Up. The vendors were also given detailed information on the loan processes available to the beneficiaries for setting up solar plants. One day training workshop for rooftop solar vendors will be held in various districts till September 4. Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam is organising one day training workshop for rooftop solar vendors in 10 districts of the state. Different dates have been fixed for the different 10 districts. It has started from Bhopal on 11th August. The training workshop will now be held in Indore on August 13, in Jabalpur on the 18th, in Gwalior on the 20th, in Sagar on the 22nd, in Ujjain on the 25th, in Rewa on the 27th, in Morena on the 29th, in Narmadapuram on the 1st, and in Shahdol on the 4th.
