It is important to acquaint the new generation with the contribution of the Chief Minister and Assembly Speakers in the development of the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid homage to the first Chief Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh, Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla, on his birth anniversary by offering flowers to his portrait in the Central Hall of the Assembly on Saturday. Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Cooperation Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Smt. Krishna Gaur, Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development Smt. Radha Singh, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani and public representatives were present.

Initiative of Assembly Speaker Shri Tomar is welcome – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the present form of the state has taken shape on the foundation of the work started by Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla, the first Chief Minister after the formation of Madhya Pradesh, for the development of the state. The initiative of Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar to start the tradition of remembering the revered Chief Ministers and Assembly Speakers of the state on their birth anniversaries is welcome. This innovation of remembering them will be helpful in acquainting the new generation with the contribution of these virtuous souls in the development of the state.

Assembly Speaker Shri Tomar also spoke to the media- Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that it is necessary to remember the contribution of the respected Chief Minister and Assembly Speakers of the state. He said that the state of Madhya Pradesh was formed on 1 November 1956. We all take inspiration from the life and struggle of the first Chief Minister of the state, respected Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla ji. Today is his birth anniversary, remembering him, I pray to God to give us all the strength and ability to follow the path shown by him.
