Raid on gambling den in Bhatapara: 11 arrested!-Police have busted a big gambling den in Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh. A joint team of city and rural police station raided a house and arrested 11 people red-handed while gambling. This action was taken on the basis of secret information.

 Cash, mobile and playing cards recovered-Police have recovered Rs 50,000 in cash, 9 mobile phones and 52 packs of cards from the spot. The total value of the seized goods is estimated to be around Rs 1,07,470. This shows how big and organized this gambling den was. Police have seized all the goods and further investigation is on.

 All accused are local residents, interrogation continues-All the 11 arrested accused are residents of Bhatapara. The police have started questioning them to get complete information about their network and the operation of this gambling den. The police have registered a case against the accused under sections 4, 5 and 6 of the Chhattisgarh Gambling (Prohibition) Act 2022. Further investigation is expected to reveal more. This action is a strong warning against gambling in Bhatapara.
